West End Neighborhood Watch Chapter I will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at West Washington United Methodist Church.
Walk and Talk program will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 5 at Shelter 1 in Mingo Creek County Park. Registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867. There is no fee.
Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, Bethel Park, will host a vendor/craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7. Products will include Pampered Chef, Origami Owl, Jamberry Nails, 31 Gifts, Magndia & Vine and Sabika. There also will be hand-crafted items, plus a continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, a silent auction and a cookie bar. Proceeds benefit Prime Time Adult Care Inc., a nonprofit organization specializing in medical supervision and mental and physical stimulation of the elderly, those with functional impairments and those with Alzheimer’s disease. Olive United Methodist Church, Route 7 West, Pentress, W.Va., will hold its 78th annual turkey dinner at 2 p.m. Nov. 14. Cost is by donation. Takeout will be available at 3.
American Heritage Merit Badge Workshop for Boy Scouts will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Bradford House Museum, 175 S. Main St., Washington. The workshop will be administered by museum staff. Participants will satisfy merit badge requirements with a merit badge counselor on site to sign blue cards. West Alexander Methodist Church will hold a chicken- and-biscuit dinner at 4 p.m. Nov. 17. A love offering will be accepted.
