Leichty – Nicolella
Jamie Nicolella and Jordan Leichty were united in marriage May 30, 2015, at Bella Sera, Canonsburg, with the Rev. James VanWinkle officiating the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Joseph and Marla Nicolella of Washington. Her grandparents are James and Marlene Hancher of Washington and the late Joseph C. and Doris Nicolella.
Parents of the bridegroom are Lonnie and Wendy Leichty of Wayland, Iowa. His grandparents are Edie Cooprider, the late Donovan Cooprider and the late Daniel and Arlene Leichty.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Katie Garner of Lancaster, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jamie Reynolds of Ankeny, Iowa, sister of the groom; Leah King of Erie; Cara Hritz of Washington; Andrea Patton of Logan, Utah; Kelly Beck of Pittsburgh; and Anna Weygandt of Redding, Calif.
Junior bridesmaids were Chloe and Sophia Trapanotto of Venetia, cousins of the bride.
Flower girls were Lucia Trapanotto of Venetia, cousin of the bride, and Meikaiya and Adylea Leichty of Wayland, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Luke Leichty of Wayland, brother of the groom. Ushers were Jake Nicolella of Brooklyn, N.Y., brother of the bride; Ben Leichty of Wayland, cousin of the groom; Steve Martin of Hesston, Kan.; Josh Huth of Redding; Curtis Didato of Wooster, Ohio; and Blair Nightinggale of Redding.
Vocalist was Erin Hancher of Washington, aunt of the bride.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Trinity High School and a graduate of Penn State School of Nursing. She is an assistant director of nursing at Vibra Hospital in Redding.
Mr. Leichty is a 2002 graduate of Waco High School and a graduate of Iowa State University. He is an operations director for Mosa Energy Works in Redding.
A reception was held at Bella Sera.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
