Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.

Monongahela Area Historical Society will present “History Through A Woman’s Eyes” Sept. 26. Local actors will portray different women of the town who were involved in significant historical events. Tours will begin at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Chess Park. Participants are to meet at the park 15 minutes before the start of each tour. Cost is $10 and includes a bag lunch in the park. Prepaid reservations are required and can be made by calling 724-258-2377 or visiting www.monongahelahistoricalsociety.com.

Tri-County Borough Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Sons of Italy, 415 Race St., Brownsville. The meal will be served at 7, followed by the business meeting. Guest speaker will be Diane Holder, area manager of First Energy/West Penn Power.
