Martha Washington Quilt Guild will hold its monthly business meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on the third floor of Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., Washington. Ann Faust will present “Cut the Scraps.” Guests are welcome.
Washington-Greene-Fayette County Counselor Association is sponsoring a free College/Technical/Military/Career Fair from 8:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday in the convocation center at California University of Pennsylvania. The fair is geared toward high school students, their parents and guardians and school districts. About 100 colleges, technical schools, military and industries will attend.
West End Neighborhood Watch Chapter 1 will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the church hall of West Washington United Methodist Church.
Daughters of Penelope Canonsburg Chapter 228 will hold a dinner variety show Sept. 26 at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg. Doors open at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 and the show from 7:30 to 9:30. All proceeds will benefit the St. Nicholas National Shrine at the World Trade Center in New York City. The church was destroyed Sept. 11, 2001. Cost is $25 per person and includes dinner and a musical variety show by Nick Fiasco. A cash bar will be available.
