Grassmyer – Dunkle
John and Doris Dunkle of Duncansville, formerly of Avella, announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura, to Danny Grassmyer, son of Sharon Grassmyer of Tyrone and the late Danny Grassmyer.
Laura’s grandparents are Margaret Parsons of Washington, the late Leslie Carlisle and the late Donald and Cora Dunkle.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and a 2011 graduate of Seton Hill University with a bachelor of science and master of science in physician assistant. She is a physician assistant with Correct Care Solutions, working at SCI Benner Township in Bellefonte.
The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Tyrone High School and attended Penn State University, Altoona campus. He is a corrections officer for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at SCI Benner Township.
A September 24 wedding is planned.
