The Frank L. Melega Art Museum is accepting digital entries for its 2016 National Road Festival Juried Exhibition.

Deadline to submit digital images via the Internet or Smartphone is May 5. Processing fee is $25, and only artists living in Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties are eligible.

Artwork may be paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking or photography. A prospectus with complete details can be downloaded from the museum’s website, MelegaArtMuseum.org.

Robert Qualters, 2014 Pennsylvania Artist of the Year, and Laurie Longenecker, 2015 Artist of the Pike, will be the jurors.

Qualters is known for his vibrant, color-saturated paintings and murals depicting Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods, bridges and industry, as well as self-portraits.

Longenecker is a nationally known graphic designer, and her paintings and graphic art posters concentrate on regional inspired themes.
