Spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. May 5 at the Brownsville Senior Center, 302 Shaffner Ave. The dinner is hosted by Crosskeys Human Services Inc. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 years old and younger. Proceeds benefit Crosskey’s aging and mental health programs. For tickets, call 724-785-6180.
Charleroi Area Golden Age Club will meet at noon May 6 in Charleroi fire hall. Final payment for the June trip to Atlantic City and down payments for lunch at Nemacolin Woodlands and the “Samson” trip to Lancaster will be due.

Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will hold star parties May 6-7 at the Mingo Creek County Park Observatory, located near Shelter 10. The program will begin at dusk. Viewing will take place as long as there is a partly clear sky. If it is raining or cloudy, the program will be cancelled. Reservations are not required and there is no fee.
