Family reunions
Canan reunion will be held Sunday at the Kiwanas pavilion in Washington Park. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. Bring a favorite picnic basket to share and an item for the auction.
Naylor-Rood reunion for descendants and relatives of William and Lizzie Rood Naylor will be held Aug. 14 at South Strabane Community Park on Floral Hill Drive. Bring one main/side dish and a dessert. Beverages and paper products will be provided with lunch at 1 p.m.
Penn-Pettit reunion will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Washington Township Park in Ruff Creek. Families are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert and a white elephant gift for the auction. Meat, beverages and table settings will be provided.
Tharp reunion for family and friends will be held Aug. 13 at the Lions pavilion behind the swimming pool in Waynesburg. Bring a covered dish, desserts, drinks and a gift for the auction. For directions, call Bob Strope at 724-833-4975.
