Wolfdale Bible Church, 2025 Jefferson Ave., Washington, will host a community family Bible time at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday. The 6th Annual Toast To Our Stars of North Charleroi Golf Outing will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday at Riverview Golf Course in Bunola. The event is a four-person blind scramble. Cost to enter is $320 per team/$80 per player. Fee includes golf, food and adult beverages, catered dinner by Texas Roadhouse and hole-in-one prizes, including a new vehicle provided by Rotolo Motors. Washington Corps of The Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the bag sale will begin at noon.
The Samaritan’s Closet will hold a 50-cent bag of clothing sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, 615 E Beau St., Washington. There will be gently worn clothing of all sizes for men, women and children.
Friday Fun Night Oldies and More Dance sponsored by Gatherings Dance Events will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 12 at Hunting Ridge Meeting House, 401 Meeting House Road, Bridgeville. Cost is $10 and the event is BYOB. Gatherings Dance Events sponsors oldies dances on the second Friday of every month for people with like interests to have the opportunity to dance, socialize, have fun and meet new people in a safe and non-threatening environment.
