Workshop planned on Jefferson, plants
Washington County Master Gardeners, through Penn State Extension, will offer a workshop, “Thomas Jefferson: Advocate for Native Plants,” at 10 a.m. Sept. 17, at the John White House, 2151 N. Main St, Washington.
A $10 donation is requested. Dr. Candy S. DeBerry will present information about the role Jefferson played in protecting and preserving native plants.
