Monessen to celebrate Founders Day
The Greater Monessen Historical Society will hold its annual Founders Day of Living History from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday at Monessen City Park, 1918 Grand Blvd.

The festival also will include food vendors, booths, local authors and displays. There also will be children’s activities.
Wine in the Woods will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday on the walking track. Christian W. Klay Winery of Chalk Hill and Plum Run Winery Inc. of Brownsville will offer samples of local wines. Donation is $5.
