Trolley museum offers shuttle to the fair
The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will provide shuttle service to the Washington County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to midnight today through Aug. 20 from the Eaton Crouse-Hinds parking lot, 2800 N. Main St., during the fair.
Visitors can purchase Park ‘n’ Ride tickets or regular admission tickets to the museum at the museum’s main location at 1 Museum Road, across from the fairgrounds. Trolleys will depart from their stations every 15 minutes, and tickets are good for multiple trips throughout the day of purchase.
Cost is $3 per person. Children younger than 5 are free. The fee does not include admission to the museum, which is $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and $7 for 3- to 15-year-olds. Regular admission includes museum exhibits, a film on the trolley era and guided tours of some of the museum’s trolleys. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the last tour leaving at 3.
In addition, tickets to the fair will be sold from 5 to 8 p.m. daily at the Eaton parking lot location.
