Pfister – Pozzuto
Valerie Pozzuto and Daniel Pfister were united in marriage July 3, 2016, at Musket Ridge Golf Club, Myersville, Md., with the Rev. Dr. L. Stephen Smith officiating the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Fred and Leslie Pozzuto of Washington. Her grandparents are Dara Pozzuto of Churchill, the late John Pozzuto and the late Lewis and Margaret Fuller.
Parents of the bridegroom are Bruce and Barbara Pfister of Ijamsville, Md. His grandparents are Walter and Barbara Alesi of Palm City, Fla., and the late Hans and Mary Lou Pfister.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Stephanie Johnson of Newark, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Julie Pozzuto of Rocky River, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride, Jessica Pozzuto of Austintown, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride and Betty Putnam of Seattle, Wash.
Best man was Andrew Scott of Denver, Colo. Ushers were Christopher Harner of Annapolis, Md., and Erik Schuller of Columbus, Ohio.
Readers were Andrew and Stewart Pozzuto and Sarah Spratt.
The bride is a graduate of Trinity High School and Otterbein University, Westerville, Ohio, with a bachelor of science in middle childhood education and a minor in history. She is pursuing a master of education in technology facilitation at Mount St. Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Md. She is a technology teacher at Smithsburg Middle School in Smithsburg, Md.
Mr. Pfister is a graduate of Urbana High School, Urbana, Md., and the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. He is a project manager with ISEC Inc., Fulton, Md.
A reception was held in Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge Golf Club.
The couple honeymooned in Greece and France.
