Pearl Harbor Day remembrance luncheon for military veterans will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Country Meadows of South Hills, 3580 Washington Pike, Bridgeville. Historian, author and former Naval Officer Gary Augustine will discuss the significance of the events that occurred in Pearl Harbor 75 years ago. All veterans who attend will be recognized by branch of service. Seating is limited, and guests are asked to RSVP by calling Erika Seibel at 412-257-2855.

Produce to People, sponsored by Fresh Fire Church, will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 8 in the Fiddlers Building at Fayette County Fairgrounds, 134 Pechin Road, Dunbar. Volunteers are needed at 8:30 a.m.
Center Township will hold a community Christmas celebration Dec. 10. The parade will begin at 4 p.m., followed by tree-decorating at 5 and the tree lighting at 5:30. Refreshments and pictures with Santa will follow at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home in Rogersville.
White Oak American Legion Post 701, 2813 Capital St., will sponsor an oldies dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Dec. 10. A 50/50 drawing will be offered. Admission is $5 per person. Genealogy Society of Southwestern Pennsylvania will hold its general membership meeting and holiday luncheon Dec. 17 at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington. Lunch will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the meeting at 2. Cost is $15 per person. The menu includes spiral ham, stuffed chicken breast, tossed salad, peas and onions, roll and butter, desserts and beverages. Guest speaker will be Clay Kilgore, executive director of the Washington County Historical Society.
