U.S. Air Force Airman Matthew G. Bean graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Bean is a 2016 graduate of California Area High School, and his parents are Susan R. Bean of Brownsville and Jason E. Bean of Pittsburgh.
