Washington Health System Greene Auxiliary will hold a Book and Gift Sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the fourth-floor conference room at the hospital on Bonar Avenue, Waynesburg.
Nazareth Baptist Church, 123 N. Lincoln St., Washington, is holding its “Pampers for Christmas” drive until Monday. Donations of Pampers for newborns to adults will be distributed at the annual Coco Christmas at the LeMoyne Multicultural Community Center from 3 to 6 p.m. Dec. 16. Masquerade $5 Jewelry and Accessories Sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Washington Health System community room. The event is sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary, and proceeds will benefit Washington Health System. Cash and credit cards will be accepted, along with payroll deduction for Washington Health System employees.
Brownsville Musical Review, featuring Brownsville Area High School’s musical alumni performing songs from all of their productions since 1991, will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 in the high school auditorium. Admission is $10. Tickets are available in advance at the high school office or at the door.
Waynesburg Community Center will hold its annual Christmas party from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 22, with a lunch beginning at 11:30. Entertainment will be provided by Ambassadors for Christ, and Santa will hand out gifts. Those who plan to attend must register in advance by calling the center at 724-627-6366.
New Year’s Eve Party, sponsored by the Valley Inn Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, will be held from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Valley Inn social hall, Snyder Avenue, Monongahela. Music will be provided by Five Minutes of Fame. The evening also will include a buffet at midnight, beer and pop. BYOB is permissable. Cost is $25 per person or $35 per couple.
