Chartiers Township Parks and Recreation pavilion reservations for 2017 will be available Tuesday at the community center. An application must be filled out and a $50 refundable security deposit will be required.
Central Blood Bank will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Washington Health System-Greene, Foundation Wellness Center, 350 Bonar Ave., Waynesburg. All participating donors will receive an “ugly” holiday sweater T-shirt. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. South Franklin Township will accept 2017 reservations for the community building and pavilions beginning at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at the municipal building. Residents must apply in person and pay a deposit. Deposit is $150 for Pavilion No. 1 and $125 for Pavilion No. 2. Deposit is $100 for the community building.
