Brashear time capsule to be featured

The contents of the time capsule of Brownsville’s John A. Brashear will be the featured topic at the Feb. 12 meeting of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Allegheny Observatory, 159 Riverview Ave., Pittsburgh. Keynote speaker will be Art Glaser of the Heinz History Center.

The time capsule was discovered March 17, 2015, during the demolition of Brashear’s factory.
