Extension offering ‘Cooking for Crowds’

Penn State Extension will hold a “Cooking for Crowds” food safety workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 at St. George Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown.

Fee is $25 for an individual, and $50 per organization for one to four people, with $5 charged for each additional person. Topics will include safe purchasing, storage, preparation, monitoring, record keeping, cleaning, sanitizing and general guidelines for events. More information is available at www.extension.psu.edu.
