Jameson’s Army to host Green Heart Gala
Jameson’s Army will host its fifth annual Green Heart Gala from 6 to 11 p.m. April 15 at The LeMont in Pittsburgh.
The gala will honor the annual Green Heart Award winner and the Soldier Award winner.
Last year’s Green Heart Gala raised more than $40,000 for Jameson’s Army, a nonprofit organization that increases awareness of congenital heart disease. It was founded by Patrik and Danielle McKain of Cecil, whose son, Jameson, has battled congenital heart disease for the past three years.
Proceeds support the children and families impacted by the effects of congenital heart defects, and include care packages delivered to the heart center at Children’s Hospital and cough pillows used to comfort patients after surgery.
Tickets are $100 per person and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, live music and an award program. To purchase tickets, email Kathy Helbling kathyhelbling@jamesonsarmy.org with your name, address and phone number.
Businesses interested in sponsorships can email Danielle McKain at daniellemckain@jamesonsarmy.org for a sponsorship form.
