Organizers of the annual Whiskey Rebellion Festival are expanding interest in the summer event by showcasing Americana music with a daylong, mid-winter concert by multiple artists.

The Whiskey Rebellion Winter Music Festival had previously taken place on a monthly basis, but has been condensed into one day and will be held Feb. 27 at the Washington Elks Lodge on Maiden Street. Doors open at 2 p.m., and performances begin at 2:30.

The concert will highlight blues, folk, country roots and blue grass and will feature six artists, including John Liggett, the Honeycutters, and headliner Jimmy Adler.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.Bradfordhouse.org or at A&M Wine & Beer Supplies, 202 S. Main St., Washington, and Quality Quick Printing & Copy, 160 N. College St., Washington.
