Qualifying households needed for repairs
Chartiers Creek Workcamp, co-sponsored by Group Workcamps, an intensive one-week trip that helps people grow in Christian faith through service, is seeking up to 75 homes to repair this summer.
High school students with adult chaperones will provide basic home repairs – painting on the inside or outside, wheelchair ramps,
weatherization and step/porch repair – the week of July 10-16.
To qualify, residents must:
• Be physically or financially unable to repair their own home.
• Own their own home.
• Be within a 20-minute drive of Canon-McMillan High School, where the students will be staying.
• Have someone present at the home during the week of the repairs.
Both labor and materials are free to qualifying households.
