West End Neighborhood Chapter 1 will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in West Washington United Methodist Church hall.

Genealogy Society of Southwestern Pennsylvania will present Russ King Sr. at 2 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington. King will discuss African-American Ministers and their involvement in Washington County and African-American Heritage in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The event is free. Camp Agape will hold a Maple Syrup Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5. Visitors can watch and learn how to make maple syrup, then taste it on hotcakes with sausage.
