Annual sausage sale is underway at St. Peter’s Parish in Brownsville. The sausage features the recipe of Father Vincent Gigliotti’s father. Cost is $4.50 per pound, and the minimum order is two pounds. Varieties are hot, sweet and hot-hot. Orders are due by today. To place an order, call 724-785-7781. Delivery is March 17.

Christian Mothers & Guild of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church, Meadow Lands, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church hall. Father Carmen D’Amico will be the featured speaker. Members should bring their Bibles.

Washington County Parks and Recreation will hold Introduction to Geocaching Thursday in Mingo Creek County Park. The program will be offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and is for children ages 5 through 11. Participants will learn how to search for hidden treasures using a hand held GPS unit and will meet at the park office. Dress for the weather and moderate hiking. A limited number of hand held GPS units will be available. If you have a hand held GPS unit, it is requested that you bring it. Registration is required; call 724-228-6867.

Gene and Boots Candy Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
