Community dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. Menu includes creamed chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw or fruit, dessert and a beverage. Charleroi Area Golden Age Group will meet at noon Friday at Charleroi fire hall.
All-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau St., Washington. Dinner includes spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, a drink and homemade dessert. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children 5 to 12 years old. Children 4 and younger are free. Takeout will be available.
Washington County Special Olympics will hold a dress sale Friday through Sunday at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Meadow Lands. Gowns and accessories can be donated from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Shopping for gowns and accessories will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Seamstresses will be available for alterations. West Finley Cemetery Association will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at Windy Gap Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 132 Burnsville Ridge Road. All lot owners are encouraged to attend.
