St. Damien Church, Monongahela, will hold a doughnut sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.

The Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Jan. 12. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.

Mon Valley Coin Club will meet at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at 303 Chamber Plaza in Charleroi. Applications are being accepted for membership. A 50/50 drawing will be offered, and prizes will be awarded to children. For more information, call 724-984-6611.

Fourth Street Barbeque will offer wings, pulled pork, ribs and some special sides from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 22 in the main lobby at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Takeout will be available. The event is sponsored by the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc. Proceeds will be used to enhance services for patients and visitors at the hospital. Washington Area Humane Society will hold a spaghetti dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Jan. 24 at Washington American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave. The meal includes salad, bread and spaghetti provided by Angelo’s in Washington. There also will be music, raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the shelter or online at WAHSspaghettidinner.eventbrite.com.

The Men’s Club at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Parish in Canonsburg will host a spaghetti dinner from 1 to 6 p.m. Jan. 24 in the St. Patrick School cafeteria. Dinner will include spaghetti, homemade sauce, meatballs, garden salad, Italian bread, homemade cake and beverage choice of lemon blend or coffee. Eat in or take out. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for age 12 and younger. Adults will receive a complimentary glass of homemade wine. A basket of wine raffle and a 50/50 drawing also will be held. Proceeds will benefit the club’s charitable contributions to the church, school, diocese, scholarships and community. Tickets will be available at the door.

Bridgeville Area Historical Society will meet at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Chartiers Room at Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department, 370 Commerical St. Jim Haller will present “Growing Up in Baseball in Pittsburgh.”
