Murphy – Secreti
Spencer Secreti and John Murphy were united in marriage September 5, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with Father Carmen D’Amico of Miraculous Medal Church officiating the noon ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Francesco and Kelly Secreti of Washington. Her grandparents are Benedetto and Antonietta Secreti of Canonsburg and Carl and Patti Trusler of Washington.
Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Alice Murphy of Washington. His grandparents are Patty Murphy of Washington, the late Pete Murphy, Barbara “Sis” Sacco of Washington and the late Dominic Sacco.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Emily Kulla of Washington. Bridesmaids were Erin Yevins and Alexis King, both of Washington.
Best man was Jay Murphy, brother of the groom. Ushers were Taylor Deep and Michael Yancich, both of Washington.
Readers were Zachary Berton, cousin of the bride; Brendan Berton, cousin of the bride; and Milana Sacco, cousin of the groom.
Vocalist was Meghan Child.
A reception was held at Julian’s Catering and Banquet Facility.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2015 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed by Washington Health System.
Mr. Murphy is a 2008 graduate of Trinity High School and a graduate of Robert Morris University, where he earned a bachelor of science in accounting and finance in 2012 and a master of business administration in 2014. He is employed at Guthrie, Belczyk and Associates.
A wedding trip to Disney is planned for the future.
