School registration
St. Patrick School, Canonsburg, will begin accepting registration for the 2016-17 school year Feb. 1. Packets will be available beginning Jan. 31. At registration, bring the child’s birth certificate and immunization records. A fee is required. St. Patrick offers full-day pre-kindergarten and full-day kindergarten, along with first through eighth grades. To enroll in kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by Sept. 1. All registered kindergarten students will be screened April 14. The school will hold an open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 30. Children’s School of Washington, 615 E. Beau St., will hold a preschool open house from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Registration for the 2016-17 school year begins the same day.
