Kyle Johnson, a senior at Peters Township High School, was selected through a lengthy audition process to perform with the National Association for Music Education’s All-National Honors Orchestra in Nashville, Tenn.

To reach this level, Johnson had to audition and place at the top of the district, region, state and All-Eastern orchestras throughout his junior year at Peters Township. Once at the All-National level, Johnson placed as the third cellist overall among the 20 musicians from throughout the nation.

Johnson also was selected for the Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Association District Orchestra. He was joined by Grace Casper, flute; Mekha Nair, viola; and Jenna Jacobs, violin.
