Kristina Filoni and Scott Milliken were united in marriage June 18, 2016, in Washington, with the Rev. Russel Shuluga officiating the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride’s parents are Aldo and Tamara Filoni of California.

Parents of the bridegroom are Kenneth and Mary Kay Milliken of McClellandtown.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Michelle Maleta of Grindstone, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Jennifer Kvortek of Bentleyville. Bridesmaids were Paige Danhires of Peters Township, cousin of the bride; Brett Hutchinson of Lexington, Ky.; Chelsea Slagle of Fredericktown; and Audra Bupka of Fredericktown. Bridesman was Marc Zmijowski of Charleroi.

Flower girl was McKenzie Scott, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Ryan Butcho of Martinsburg, W.Va. Ushers were Andrew Milliken of Chicago, Ill., and Kevin Milliken of McClellandtown, brothers of the groom; Bert Steele of Athens, Ga.; Robert Ellsworth of Morgantown, W.Va.; and BJ Moore of Morgantown.

Reader was Pam Wood. Vocalist was Lisa Winfrey.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Geibel High School and a graduate of Duquesne University with a bachelor of arts in communications and a minor in business. She is employed as an underwriter.

Mr. Milliken is a 2004 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and attended West Virginia University, where he majored in history. He is a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, working as a super-high frequency communication technician.

A reception was held at The George Washington Hotel.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
