Vacation Bible school
Calvary Baptist Church, 1701 Ridgewood Drive, Washington – “Ocean Commotion,” for 3-year-olds through teenagers, 6:15 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Teenagers will have their own program. There will be snacks, games and crafts that pertain to the ocean. A special closing program will be held Aug. 5.
Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, 2230 Washington Road, Canonsburg – “Surfin’ Through the Scriptures,” 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. Monday through Aug. 5. There will be a free family dinner from 5 to 5:45 p.m.
First Church of the Nazarene, 1336 N. Main St., Washington – “Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace,” for 3-year-olds through sixth-graders, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Aug. 5.
First Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Wheeling St., Washington – “Living Waters,” a family program for all ages, will hold its final meeting Sunday after the worship service.
Highland Brethren Church, 450 Highland Ridge Road, Marianna – 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 8-12. There will be Bible classes, recreation, snacks and crafts. For more information, call 724-267-3761.
