Sarah Dombrowski was named to the dean’s list at Chatham University, where she is majoring in biology. She is a 2012 graduate of McGuffey High School, and her parents are George and Diane Dombrowski of Avella.

Cody Longstreth was inducted into the Beta Nu Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two-year colleges at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Lancaster, where he is majoring in electro-mechanical technology. He is a tutor at the school. Longstreth is a 2015 graduate of McGuffey High School, and his parents are Larry and Paula Longstreth of West Finley.
