Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, 390 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, will hold an open house for its first anniversary of Bailey’s Cat Haven from noon to 4 p.m. April 2. Refreshments will be served, and everyone who brings a donation will receive a ticket for the basket raffle. Dry and canned cat food, scoopable litter and toys are needed. Adoptions also will be discounted.

Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. April 13 at Peters Township Public Library. Guest speakers will be photographers Frank and Laurie Bruns, who will present “Myanmar Up Close.” They recently returned from a two-month trip to Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia. Costume Jewelry Sale will be held at 8 a.m. April 14 and 15 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. Jewelry will cost $5. The sale is sponsored by the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc., and proceeds will be used to enhance services for MVH patients and visitors. Free parking will be provided with any purchase. White Oak American Legion Post 701, 2813 Capital St., will sponsor an oldies dance from 7 to 11 p.m. April 16. A 50/50 raffle will be held.
