Charleroi Area Golden Age Club will meet at noon Friday in Charleroi fire hall. Down payments for the trip to Atlantic City June 7-10, lunch at Nemacolin Woodlands and the “Samson” trip to Lancaster will be due.
Keep PA Beautiful – Great PA Cleanup will be held from 10 a.m. to noon April 9 at Mingo Creek County Park and Cross Creek County Park. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Afterward, participants will receive a hot dog and bottle of water. Groups should meet at Shelter 4 at Mingo and Shelter 3 at Cross Creek. Dress for the weather and light hiking. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867.
Mon Valley Coin Club will meet at 2 p.m. April 17 at 303 Chamber Plaza, Charleroi. Applications are being accepted for membership. A 50/50 raffle will be held, and prizes will be awarded to children. For more information, call 724-984-6611.
