Jefferson Township Historical Society will host a plant sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Martha Washington Garden Club will hold a meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Laboratory Presbyterian Church, 33 Manse Street, Washington. A light lunch will be served, followed by a presentation by Mary Fike. She has over 20 years of experience attracting and advancing the Eastern bluebirds in the area and will discuss the feeding and promoting of bluebirds.
Concordia of the South Hills, 1300 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, will host an open house and “Preventing Mail Fraud and Other Scams” seminar Thursday. The open house tours will begin at 2 p.m. and the seminar presentation will begin at 3:30 in the Harmony Room in the common area. The seminar will be led by U.S. Postal Inspector Ian Ortega and will focus on how to recognize and prevent different kinds of mail and phone fraud scams. White Oak American Legion Post 701, 2813 Capital St., White Oak, will sponsor an oldies dance from 7 to 11 p.m. May 21. A 50/50 raffle will be offered. Admission is $5.
