Bradford House to host garden party
Bradford House Museum, 175 S. Main St., Washington, will hold its annual garden party from 2 to 4 p.m. June 12.
Activities will include mandolin-playing by Lee Stivers, sheep-shearing by Linda West, spinning by Carol Startare, Meet the Gardeners and container planting by the Ivy Green.
Light refreshments and lemonade will be available. Those who wear their favorite garden hat will be entered in the best hat contest, which will be judged by the garden committee. Participants must submit their name and contact information. The winner will receive a Bradford House gift basket.
