MVH offering series about oncology
Monongahela Valley Hospital is expanding its Innovations in Medicine programming to include a three-part series on oncology.
The series will kick off June 16, with Dr. Oleksandr Yergiyev discussing “What is Cancer?”
The series continues on June 23, when Dr. Andrew Zahalsky will discuss “How is Cancer Treated?” On June 30, registered nurses Carol Manown and Lisa Eicher will address “How Do I Live with Cancer?”
All programs begin at 6 p.m. in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center. Each session is expected to last about one hour. Light refreshments will be served, and parking is free.
