Volunteers are needed to help unload trucks at 9 a.m. Friday and to distribute food at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brownsville Area Ministerial Association’s food bank at Calvin United Presbyterian Church, 307 Spring St.

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 5:30 p.m. May 31 at First Christian Church, 512 Second St., Brownsville.

West Washington United Methodist Church will hold its annual Spring Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 and 4 in fellowship hall, 625 Fayette St., Washington. There will be a bake sale, and lunch will be available.

A McDonald-area Community Yard Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4. A map of known participating yard sales will be available on Facebook at McDonald Pennsylvania a few days prior and the morning of the event at McDonald Presbyterian Church. St. Paul Lutheran Church, 56381 National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio, will hold its annual National Road Route 40 Craft and Food Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4. The event will be indoor and outdoor with more than 50 crafters and vendors. There will be a DJ, Chinese auction and 50/50. Admission and parking is free.
