Fawcett United Methodist Church, 346 Fawcett Church Road, Bridgeville, will hold a spring rummage/bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch will be available on half-price Saturday.

Washington, Fayette and Greene County Council will hold a council meeting June 1 at American Legion Post 175, 168 Park Ave., Washington. The executive meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the regular meeting at 11. There will be recognition of candidates for department offices and election of council officers for 2016-18. Robinson Church, 521 Church Lane, Bulger, will hold its annual Strawberry Festival from 5 to 7:30 p.m. June 8. There will be homemade roast beef, turkey salad and ham BBQ sandwiches, along with baked beans and a variety of cold salads and desserts. There will also be a bake sale, Chinese auction and kids fair.
