‘Poppy Roadblock’ date changed

Because of the rain last Saturday, members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 902 had to reschedule their “Poppy Roadblock” in Houston from last Saturday to this Saturday.

They will be accepting donations for bright red flowers made by disabled veterans. All donations will be used to assist and support veterans.

Unit 902 has used poppy donations to purchase custom wheelchair bags and walker totes for disabled veterans in Pittsburgh hospitals for the past 16 years.
