Hopewell Township is holding spring cleanup for household items and trash through June 3. Residents can place materials in the container at the township municipal building. Items that will not be accepted are building materials, tires, refrigerators, garbage, paint, petroleum products, computers and electronic devices.

Southwestern Local Task Force 1 will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Intermediate Unit 1 Central Office, Coal Center. Officers will be elected, and Amy Dillow will present “Behavior.” For more information, call 724-938-3241, ext. 721 or ext. 265.
