Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park will host a vendor and craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Vendors will be selling their merchandise and taking catalog orders. A continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, a silent auction table and cookie bar also will be available. Admission is free. Proceeds benefit Prime Time Adult Care, a nonprofit organization that specializes in medical supervision and mental and physical stimulation of the frail elderly. West Alexander Methodist Church, Main Street, will hold a chicken-and-biscuit dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out Saturday. A love offering will be accepted.
Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., Washington, will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the bag sale will begin at noon.
Chartiers Townhip Parks and Recreation will hold an in service/vacation day program Nov. 11 at the Chartiers Township Community Center. Children can be dropped off after 7 a.m. and must be picked up by 6 p.m. Cost is $25, and advance registration is required.
Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2040 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, will hold its annual fall rummage and recycling sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 12. The event will be closed from noon to 12:30 p.m. for lunch. The bag and half-price sale will begin at 12:30. Collection day will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 11.
