New Freeport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold a dinner and Chinese auction from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the New Freeport fire hall, 111 Main St. Dinner includes choice of ham or chicken, homemade noodles, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw, roll, pie and a drink. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children 12 and younger. Drawings for the Chinese auction will be held at 7. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win. Takeout will be available.
Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority’s November business meeting has been changed from Nov. 10 to Nov. 17 at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the authority’s office.
Jefferson United Methodist Church will hold a baked steak dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Jefferson Community Center. Menu includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, candied carrots, pickled beets, applesauce, rolls, desserts and a beverage. Cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Takeout will be available.
