Toy Chest registration at Canonsburg church
Registration for Christmas toys from the Canonsburg-Houston Toy Chest will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 21 and 22 at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 W. Pike St.
No registration will be accepted after Nov. 22, and no toys will be given to anyone without a registration form.
Applicants must reside in the Canonsburg-Houston area.
The following information is required when registering for toys:
• A welfare/health assistance card and Social Security numbers of all family members;
• Underemployed income verification, with guidelines from the Welfare Department being used to determine qualifying incomes;
• Proof of the number of children through 16 years old.
Registered families can pick up their toys from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 10. Toys will be prepackaged for families based on their registration forms.
The Toy Chest is sponsored by churches in the Canonsburg-Houston area through the Greater Canonsburg-Houston Ministerial Association. For more information, call the church office at 724-745-0800 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays.
Washington residents with a Zip code of 15301 who are requesting toys must contact Washington Christian Outreach for information.
