Purse auction to benefit Kindermusik

Market Street Academy & Performing Arts Center will host its first Purse Auction at 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Center in the Woods, 130 Woodland Court, Brownsville.
The fundraiser will feature more than 50 purses and a short film directed by Sabastian Synuria of Brownsville. Those who attend also will be entered into a drawing for a Coach purse.
Tickets are $20 per person. The donation will help fund discount Kindermusik classes for children up to 7 years old. Tickets are available at the academy, 200 Second St., Brownsville, or by calling 724-350-0127.
