Revival services at Charleroi church
Pastors representing several churches will hold special revival services with missionary evangelist Curtis Silcox at 7 p.m. Thursday through Oct. 15 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 10th and Upper Crest streets, Charleroi.
On Thursday, music will be provided by the Journey By Grace Worship Team, and on Oct. 16, the Signal of Light Church choir from the Rev. George Cooper’s church in McClellandtown will perform.
Additional soloists will be featured Oct. 14 and 15, and prayer for healing and deliverance will be provided by the Rev. Mel Hileman, the Rev. Frank Sloan, the Rev. John Custer and the Rev. Henry Frain.
Silcox is president and founder of Good News Today, a local and international missions ministry dedicated to reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He ministers to churches on a monthly basis, and continually works on mission projects in China, India and various areas in Africa.
He and his wife, Paula, have ministered in 23 different nations.
Canaan Baptist Church Men’s Ministry is sponsoring a “No Man Left Behind” program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, plus 7 p.m. every Thursday through Oct. 27.
The series is designed to produce changed men, families, churches and communities. Each session begins at 7 p.m. and will feature different speakers.
The program is geared toward people who are fighting a battle they can’t win, having trouble believing, feeling alone or depressed, making the wrong choices or experiencing life difficulties.
