Monongahela Area Historical Society is sponsoring a candelight ghostwalk of Monongahela Friday and Saturday. The group will meet at 7:15 p.m. in Chess Park. The ghostwalk will go through Victorian Monongahela, based on true tales by local researcher Susan Bowers. Cost is $10 or $25 for VIP. Prepaid reservations are required and can be made by calling 724-258-6432 or www.monongahelahistoricalsociety.com. Paypal and credit cards are accepted. The ghostwalk is not recommended for children 10 or younger.
A fan bus for the Wash High-Chartiers-Houston football game will be available Friday. The bus will leave Washington High School at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.
West Alexander Methodist Church, 162 Main St., will hold a chicken-and-biscuit dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday,. A love offering will be accepted.
