Rice Energy to host coat drive, Thanksgiving meals
Rice Energy will host a coat drive from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Target in South Strabane Township. Coats of all sizes are needed, including those for adults and children.
Coats collected at the drive will be distributed to attendees of Rice Energy’s annual Plate of Plenty events, which feature a complimentary Thanksgiving meal for people whose lives are challenged by poverty, illness, joblessness and homelessness.
Plate of Plenty events will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at Washington City Mission and from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Waynesburg Readiness Center. For more information, call 855-258-8326.
