Meadows to host ‘Pink Out’ event
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is teaming up with Washington Health System Saturday to fight back against breast cancer.
A “Pink Out” event to benefit the local breast cancer center will begin at 1 p.m. The race card event will feature a race dedicated to the Washington Health System. There also will be a nonwagering mini-horse event, with 10 mini horses decked out in pink.
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association also will be raffling off a pink harness donated by Silverstone Decorative Concrete. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on race day, with all proceeds benefiting Washington Health System.
