For the last 21 years, the Zonta Club of Washington has been honoring women throughout the county who have excelled in their given profession, serving as an example to women in the community, with Rose Day Awards. The awards were recently presented at the Lone Pine Country Club to: Megan Chicone of State Farm Insurance in the business category; Heather Crowe of the Echo Program, Washington Teen Outreach, community service; Andrea Gerhart of the Peters Township School District, education; Rhonda Lavezoli of the U.S. Postal Service, government; Jane Piatt, volunteer; Kayla Succop-Tarleton of Amedisys Hospice, health service; and Lynn Sylvis of CASA for Kids, nonprofit. The Zonta Club is an International Professional Women’s Organization that helps advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Megan Chicone
